This listing is for a beautiful lidded gourd bowl. The colors are rich like the Autumn leaves. The gourd is scalloped on the back side and is pretty just as it is but the front with the hair on hide leather added to the rim really sets it off. Attached to the leather are three tufts of horse hair in copper cones. Again – the colors just take off with the touch of copper and with the hair on hide and the copper and horse hair the texture is off the meter!

It is about 10″ around and 5″ deep without the lid on. With the lid it stands about 11″ tall.

My gourds, which I call spirit vessels, are not meant to be fine pieces of art……I will leave that to the gourd experts. My spirit vessels are meant to bring Mother Earth’s bounty to you in a beautiful way all the while being simple and minimalistic.
