Handmade Witch’s Cauldron Cooking a Skeleton over a Burning Witch Fire

If Halloween is your favorite holiday and you just love finding unique decorations to add to your Halloween fun – then check out my Witch’s Cauldron!

Starting with the cauldron. This is a black 3″ plastic cauldron that I’ve given a ‘well-used’ patina so it looks like real cast iron and that it’s been over the fire many times. Inside, a full skeleton has been ‘sectioned’ to fit into the pot (eeewwww). The cauldron is suspended on a real wood (black locust) cooking tripod that consists of two 9″ support poles and one 9″ (removable) cross pole. The cross pole sits naturally on small side branches on the support poles. The support poles are set into ‘boulders’ of hand-painted clay.

But what really makes the show here is the Witch’s Fire. Beneath the cauldron sits a macabre stack of fire wood (black locust, also) that has been racked with a few additions – HUMAN BONES! There’s lots of pieces/parts here of many an unfortunate individual whose bones have been shoved in to the greedy flames along with the wood. And yes, this fire actually burns! A flickering tea light just fits inside the log and bone pyramid and licks it’s ‘flame’ out through the cracks and up to the cauldron’s base.

This grisly scene shows well in the daylight or even better in a spooky half-light where the fire can illuminate the Witch’s brew pot.

You will receive everything shown in picture #3.

The skeleton can be removed from the cauldron if you would like to replace it with something else. The cauldron hangs freely on the cross bar branch and swings easily with a gentle nudge. You will receive one Battery Operated Tea Light, but as these have a definitive life, you will be able to replace it easily and inexpensively at most shopping stores. (Never use a real flame tea light here.)
