Blessing Feathers, Smudge Feathers, Prayer Feathers, whatever you choose to call them, they are commonly used to symbolize our communication with the Creator.

The feathers in this listing are peahen/peacock, goose, and pheasant. There is a palo santo handle and a beautiful piece of cappuccino leather wrapped around the wood with copper cones on the tips of the fringe. This measures 16″ in all.

Used for spiritual and ritual ceremonies, these feathers are our vehicle to purify and cleanse a person, place or object. During smudging they are commonly used to cleanse or remove negative energies, spirits or influences.

Feathers can have different meanings depending on the kind and combination used. I have chosen to stay with the general meanings with this item and let the feathers just symbolize honor, trust, strength, wisdom, power, freedom and even protection.

I also like the idea of these being a Gratitude Feather. A token of appreciation to someone for a kind deed so that they will remember your gratitude. A blessing feather just because someone is a blessing in your life. Maybe a gratitude feather to represent and answered prayer. Besides all of that they are just pretty.
