This handmade Old Glory stitchery is my original design of our 13 Stars and Stripes American flag and perfect for Memorial Day, 4th of July, Veteran’s Day or to add a touch of red, white and blue to your home!

It’s a hand-stitched flag on coffee stained muslin in antique white, blue and country red. The blue background is painted in and the stripes are done in a random zig-zag pattern.

Your “Old Glory” stitchery will be unique and one of a kind! Every flag that I stitch is done freehand, so the zig zig pattern and the blue field of stars differs from any other.

The words “Old Glory” are stitched in black to offset against the colors of the flag and coordinate with the black frame.

The handmade frame is painted black and sanded for an aged appearance. There are 6 tiny rusted nails added to the front of the frame. A sawtooth hanger has been added to the back for your convenience.

A small handcrafted solid wood display stand can be included with this stitchery – allowing your framed stitchery to be displayed anywhere (similar to the one shown in the photo). You can choose this option at checkout.

When framed, this “Old Glory” stitchery is approximately 9 x 9 inches (20.32cm x 22.86cm).

Your stitchery is made to order. Please allow 10 – 14 business days for me to stitch, frame your flag and get it shipped off to you.

My stitcheries are stretched and attached directly to the frame, so they will not sag or bubble as time goes by. Tape is not used.

My frames are made from 1 1/2 x 1/4 inch (3.81cm x .635cm) pine and are backed by 1/4 inch (.635cm) wood. They are made to provide a rustic country feel to compliment my stitcheries.
